While the Ford GT has been a star of the auto-show circuit since January, it’s still very much a work in progress.
Here, for the first time, is evidence of Ford’s supercar hitting the streets of Dearborn. As caught by spy photographer Chris Doane, the GT mule was completely unclothed, wearning bare panels that didn’t fit in some places. The headlights, wipers and rearview mirrors all differ from the show car, and many of the trick elements in the rear were missing — all of which is likely due to parts still under construction. It shouldn’t be long before we hear the $400,000 GT finally roar to life.
