Growing up, Radu Muntean became obsessed with drawing and designing cars. Many years later, that’s exactly what he chose to spend0 his life doing. Naturally, he’s also a die-hard driving enthusiast with a love for European classics from the 1970s.
What does this this extraordinarily talented car designer drive? Meet his tastefully modified 1971 BMW 2002. It’s been lowered, had sticky tires fitted, and a M20 straight-six has been swapped in. To quote Radu, “it’s raw, it’s basic, it’s loud, it’s stiff, it jumps around, it’s pretty much like a roller coaster that you can control”.
