So, you blow the 2.8L M110 straight-six in your trusty Mercedes-Benz W123, and replacing it with the factory M110 isn’t quite exciting enough for you. One Mercedes owner came up with the ultimate solution; swap in a 7.3L AMG M120 V12 producing a mammoth 558hp and 531ft-lbs of torque. All that V12 goodness is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission taken from a S73 W140.
.
You might recognize this engine from something slightly more exotic; the Pagani Zonda. No word as to how the owner found the rare AMG V12, but something tells me it wasn’t cheap. The sheer ludicrousness of this build makes it one of the most epic engine swaps we’ve seen to date.
