If you were always curios to know what makes an F1 engine so special, well then your question have finally been answered.
You might think they use crazy advance technology in F1 cars, but no, they aren’t much different from normal engines, that you find in today’s cars. They use internal combustion engines, and have transmission, brakes and wheels and that’s where the similarity ends, because we all know F1 cars weren’t designed for everyday driving and cruising, everything about them revolves around speed, and only speed.
It’s no wonder that Formula one cars can obtain speeds of 200mph easily. An interesting thing to know Is that before 2006, F1 cars were powered by a massive 3 liter V10 engine. And then the rules changed, which specified teams to use 2.4 liter V8 engines, and then they changed them again, currently using a 1.6 liter V6 turbo engine. To tell you the truth we don’t know where Formula one Is headed, but what you might not know is that F1 drivers, are not happy with the transformation of Formula1 engine ‘s and cars.
