This has become more like tradition, where every year the guys from Evo step out from their office, and they try to find the best car of the year and like every year, we have 12 cars 7 judges and 5 days to complete the whole test for the cars.
Now of course sport and exotic cars require unique places, and that’s why the Evo team has traveled thousands of miles away from “civilization” to the open area, where the roads are free and beautiful. Featured in this year car of the year 2016 competition are an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Aston Martin Vantage GT8, Audi R8 V10 Plus, BMW M2, BMW M4 GTS, Ford Focus RS, Honda NSX, Lamborghini LP580-2, McLaren 570S, Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe, Porsche 911 R and VW Golf GTI Clubsport S. So, as you can see we don’t have only sports cars we also have hothatches. Being in a road trip for 5 days can sometimes turn against you, and that’s what happened to the Evo team the first 2 days where rain took over and the guys couldn’t push their cars to the limit, but after the weather cleared out and the Sun started to shine again, the roads started to hawl as hundreds of horsepowers went by. This is one of the things I like more about cars, not just the car itself, but also the fact that it brings you closer to car related people which share the same passion as you.
