Back in 2011, Chevrolet landed in Germany to test the 2012 model year Corvette ZR1 at the famous Nurburgring!
Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 638 hp and 604 lb-ft (818 Nm) of torque, the results were amazing! The 2012 ZR1, sure with a lot of upgrades from 2008, lapped the Nurburgring in 7m:19.63s, about 6 seconds faster than the previous Vette 3 year before….can’t wait for the C7 ZR1 by the way!
