Bench racers will mock German imports for their exuberant prices, but nobody can deny the extraordinary craftsmanship that goes into their BMW V12 motors.
The 5.6L V12 in the late 90’s BMW 850 CSI only came with a modest 375hp, but it was exceptionally smooth and balanced.
To test it, the video below placed a coin sideways on a running BMW V12. Not only did the coin stay upright with the engine running, but it stayed upright during engine start and stop. Watch the whole thing below, it’s seriously wild.
